Ever wonder what to do with all those broken & half used crayons? Recycle them into fun shapes for a sugar free Valentine gift!
What you'll need:
Crayons
Heart shaped baking pan
3" bags (purchased from Michaels)
Stapler
Bag Toppers
Crayons
Heart shaped baking pan
3" bags (purchased from Michaels)
Stapler
Bag Toppers
Let's get started!
Set your oven to 200 degrees. Remove the paper wrappings and break up the crayons. Add them to the molds and place in oven for 8-10 minutes.
Blank versions of the bag toppers are available HERE!
Just print & have your little one sign their name. Add a couple crayons to the bag & attach the toppers. Easy peasy!
A great Valentine treat without any sugar involved!

Love how you packaged these! I have done the crayons for a couple years but not as cutely as yours.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea. My aunt used to make recycled crayons for us. I will have to remember to make Valentine's from them when my son is older.

ReplyDeleteSuch a fun project to do with the kids, I remember doing similar things when the kids were a little younger - crayon is so versatile - I like to think of it as the Duct Tape of color - lol.
ReplyDeleteHugs, antonella :-)

I have a huge bag of broken crayons that need a home. And these will be perfect to add to my kids' goody bags for Valentine's Day.
